Yoanna solo
Yoanna is the author and performer of a solo music- visual concert about Georgian legends, myths and traditions. Yoanna performs Georgian archaic songs as well as Georgian contemporary romances, accompanying herself on the Georgian traditional instruments and the grand piano.
In the performance, music is complemented by multimedia visualisations depicting highlands of Georgia. Yoanna has traveled through many mountain routes in Pshavi, Khevsureti and Tusheti to shoot the most virgin landscapes in Georgia.
The concert was co-financed by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation under the RITA program – Transformations in the region, implemented by the Education for Democracy Foundation.
The concert was organized by Stowarzyszenie Twórczy Aktywni Kreatywni TAK! in cooperation with the Myślenice Center of Culture and Sport.
The premiere of the musical performance took place in Myślenice in November 2016.
